There are many good ways to learn Affiliate Marketing, and actually make money. People learn quicker
when the information is presented in different ways. This may seem like common sense, but you really
have to look for training programs, or books that use more than one, or two methods. Watch for creative
marketing techniques that lure people into buying their program based on action words, amazing claims,
and nice professional looking templates alone. You want to make sure that you can try it before you
commit to a purchase, just to make sure that you will be able to learn what to do, and that you like
the product. Most people know that repetition makes learning easier, but it doesn't always make it any
easier if you are just reading the same thing over, and over again. This is especially true if the
information that you are learning is technical, or quite foreign to you. Experts claiming something is
easy to do, doesn't mean that you agree.
What are the best ways to learn affiliate marketing? They are audio, visual, tacticle or experiential, and of
course written text. Aside from these, repetition, and step-by-step instructions work really well.
Written text is the most common form of giving someone information to study, and learn. It uses the sense of sight,
along with your analytical mind to learn the information. If you happen to be one of the lucky ones who have a
photographic memory, written text alone would work fine. It's common to see written text with images attached to
it somewhere, either in the form of diagrams, or photgraphs. This adds another visual aspect to the text. The text is
translated into a visual form, and presented along with the text. You read it, then you are shown a example of it.
The two methods work together to reinforce the understanding of the information. Videos are even better,
because your mind interprets it in three dimensions, even though the screen shot is only two dimensions. This
is also true with works of art. Motion, and sound are also present in videos, which stimulates the mind, making
learning a more active participation.
Audio methods may use recordings of information that you can download, and listen to as often as needed. This
gives another presentation of the learning material. It uses the sense of hearing to help with learning. One good thing about audio recordings is that you can use earplugs, and listen to the information repeatedly while you are performing simple tasks.
Tactile, or experiencial learning methods have you actually apply what you are learning, preferably while you are learning the information. This method allows for not only additional reinforcement, but usually immediate feedback. If you've ever tried to make a web site, but forgot to save something in it before you closed the program, or application, you will soon realize, remember, and learn how to do it the next time.
My favorite affiliate marketing campaign uses a step-by-step approach, and is specifically geared towards newbies.
Click Here! It utilizes written text, video, audio, and encourages you to do each step along the way, as many do, but this one is unique. The video screen shots are clear so you can actually see what step is being done, the man who speaks throughout the training has a nice voice, and it is really easy to do! It's as informative as some of the other more expensive, difficult affiliate marketing training programs, and includes information on generating traffic. Everything you need to become a successful affiliate marketer is in this training.
